Thompson Motors traces its family heritage to the 1950s in Pietermaritzburg. Clive Thompson expanded the business to Shelly Beach in December 1974, followed by Port Shepstone in 1975.
The business grew around integrity, personal service and involvement in the local community. Today its passenger and commercial operations represent Nissan, Renault, UD Trucks, FAW and Eicher.
